Full discloser: This is another Las Vegas post. Let’s just go ahead and call this Vegas week. Cool.
The last three times I visited Sin City I was fortunate enough to find Sprinkles Cupcakes. Each visit I treat myself to a vegan red velvet cupcake. I order the red velvet flavor by default because it’s the only flavor victim of dietary vandalism. I’ll take it.
You might be wondering why it took me three years to share my little Vegas vegan find. Let me tell you – I’m really not that into cupcakes! I’ve never really cared for cupcakes, cake and/or donuts. Coming up with the inspiration to talk about sugary treats is a challenge, so forgive this terse post. For me, it’s all about the bagels and muffins. But, if you veganize something, I become an instant fan – just add a fork (maybe one day I’ll blog about it).
The best part about the cupcake, you really can’t tell it’s vegan. I am no expert and surely my tastebuds have altered since ditching dairy over 5 years ago, so take my advice with a grain of salt – or a handful of sprinkles.
